Growing team in Christchurch

By

Theta

Theta’s third office, in Christchurch, opened earlier this year. We’re committed to providing great service and building long-term partnerships in the South Island, and having a strong team on the ground is all part of that. We opened the Christchurch office with a team of two, and just a few months on that number has grown to six. With several key appointments in the past month, we thought it was time you had a chance to meet some of them.

Theta’s key South Island customers include NZSki, Intouch, Otago Regional Council, Fulton Hogan, Invacare, Farmlands and Synlait.

Rob Fuller is our Southern Region Service Delivery Manager. Originally from Florida, he’s been in Christchurch for two years, and with a background in IT and project management, and IT sales, for companies in NZ and the US, he brings a wealth of experience to the role. He says

“I'm excited about my new role with Theta where I will be helping grow our business in the South Island.”

Gary Payne joins Theta from IGAsystems, and is a senior SharePoint consultant. He moved to NZ from the UK almost 20 years ago, and describes the South Island as an “outdoor playground”. After spending a few years developing web sites, he says,

John Murdoch is our Dynamics NAV Practice Lead for the South Island, and brings 24 years ERP solution experience, and strong knowledge of the local market, to the role. He’s worked with Dynamics NAV since 2000, and his well-rounded experience with this product encompasses development, implementation, training, testing and consultancy.

And the newest member of our Christchurch team, Shaun Winchester, arrived from South Africa just last week. He’s a senior BI consultant, with a broad IT background across a range of industries and particular expertise in Microsoft technologies. He’s looking forward to the work, and also to the South Island lifestyle:

“I am very much an outdoor and adventure activity person and there are so many things here that I just cannot wait to try out and exp
