The Theta Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Lee as Chief Executive Officer of Theta Systems Ltd. This follows a rigorous appointment process with a number of fine external applicants also applying for the role. Rob has been Interim CEO since the sudden passing of Theta’s previous CEO and Chairman, Steve Saunders, in January 2010.
Rob has been with Theta Systems Ltd since 2007 as Sales Director and has played an important role in the growth and strategy of the company since that time. Previously Rob held senior positions at Hewlett Packard, Oracle and Data General. The most relevant is Rob’s 9 year tenure with the now EMC owned Data General. During this period Rob was Marketing Director, Northern Region Manager, Head of DGNZ, and Head of DG’s CLARiiON Disc Array company for Australia and New Zealand.
The Board believes Rob brings the key skills and experience necessary to lead Theta over the next few years as it grows its important client base, expands into new markets, and develops depth in its core areas. The Board congratulates Rob on his appointment and looks forward to working with him and the excellent team at Theta.
