Lee Benson
Director
Lee’s relationship with Theta began when the company was founded in 1995, handling accounting and administration for the fledgling IT consultancy as it grew from a handful of consultants to the 70+ professionals of Theta today. In 2010 she was appointed Finance Director, with responsibility for high-level accounting, finance and HR.
Lee has more than thirty years’ experience in business systems, corporate accounting and HR, including senior roles at Marac, NZI Finance, and nine years as lecturer at a private business college.
Before embarking on her career in business, Lee considered becoming a vet, and retains a hands-on interest in animal health. A self-confessed “hobby vet”, she has 12 acres and a 35 year history of nursing waifs and strays back to health.
