Terry Allen
Independent Director
Terry is the founder and managing director of Allen Strategic, and specializes in governance and strategy at board and executive level.
In a career spanning 20 years his senior roles in multinational technology companies include 12 years at Microsoft. He ran the incubation business for Auckland University's Icehouse for 2 years, focusing on business growth strategy, start-ups, commercialization and small company governance, and is currently a director of the E-centre business incubator at Massey University.
Other directorships include currency exchange startup Klickex, NZ stock photo service Mychillibin and nonprofit organization Engineers without Borders. Terry also acts as an advisor to several start-ups, and to UniServices and Waikatolink, the commercialization offices of Auckland and Waikato Universities.
