- The unit was new and receiving its first charge
- The unit had been on continuous charge for 14 hours and was still on charge when it exploded
What should you do?
We’re still waiting on guidance from the NZ distributor of these devices. We don’t think you should wait and we advise you to responsibly dispose of this device and charge cord now. If you notify us we will replace the power bank with an alternative unit as soon as we are able to get stock.
This only affects power banks distributed after 16 January 2017. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
