MicroStrategy’s global symposium series came to Auckland last month. Since July 2015, 61 MicroStrategy Symposia have been held around the world, attended by more than 11,500 delegates.

The event kicked off with a keynote by MicroStrategy MD, Chairman and CEO, Michael J Saylor, where he outlined the MicroStrategy mission, differentiators and future directions.

He described business intelligence moving from traditional to evolutionary and now revolutionary phases - including real time telemetry data (e.g. google maps traffic view), digital ID, and security.

MicroStrategy Jump Start

Significant announcements made at the event included forty hours of free enterprise analytics and mobility education via the MicroStrategy Jump Start programme – including some sessions in Auckland later this year.

MicroStrategy Desktop

MicroStrategy also announced that the desktop version of its analytics software, MicroStrategy Desktop, is now free to download. It is designed for easy data discovery and allows anyone to make data-driven decisions and take action. MicroStrategy Desktop allows every user to connect to the most popular data sources and instantly visualise and explore information, all without IT support. If you want to find out more, MicroStrategy will broadcast a 1-hour webinar, The New MicroStrategy Desktop: Analytical insights in the hands of every user, on Nov. 2 at 12 pm EST (5 am on 3 Nov in NZ).
