New Kiwis Bus Tour: Tiki Touring Our Backyard

By

Theta

We’ve had so many newcomers to the Theta team from far and wide that we figured a little Tiki Tour was in order - we call it the ‘New Kiwis Bus Tour’.

We kicked things off in Te Whanganui-a-Tara – Wellington, where six of the team and their whānau (14 in total) hopped on board and made a full day of exploring some of Welly’s hidden gems. Stopping for a true Kiwi-style picnic lunch on the white sands of Seatoun Beach, and what's more - our appointed tour guide, Liz Knight, even had a bespoke Wellington playlist on shuffle to set the mood.

Here are some highlights.

Our next tour took place in Tāmaki Makaurau – Auckland. With 12 staff plus their loved ones, about 26 in total (some very small and cute), we started out climbing Mount Victoria, then met up for fish n chips, burgers and pizza at the Windsor reserve - well earned kai. After a few more stops at Auckland’s hot spots, we wrapped things up outside the domain museum; spot the group pic! Special shout out to John Way for taking the reins and being our designated tour guide.

Check out the team in action.

It’s been an epic time showing our new teammates our favourite hot spots on their new doorstep. We've made some great memories and can’t wait for many more to come.
